On the border between the Czech Republic and Germany lies a fascinating park. Its name on the Czech side is Bohemian Switzerland Park, while on the German side it is Saxon Switzerland Park.
It can be travelled via a day trip, as part of a bigger trip to Prague. In order not to rent a car and also get a guide who knows the place, we chose a paid day trip. They picked us up directly from the hotel.
There are several companies that do this, but I have to recommend Northen Hikes, who were excellent. Tours can be booked here

Bohemian Switzerland Park
The place has interesting geology, as well as events related to the coal workers in the mines, wars, and more. In this part the trip is on foot. In terms of the route, you should note that there is some walking, there are stairs, climbs, slippery areas, etc.

Saxon Switzerland Park
In this part of the trip, you cross the border into Germany and park close to the border. After a few minutes of walking you reach the remains of an ancient castle.
